About The Event
Disability Sports Australia and Livingstone Shire Council invite adults living with sensory, physical or intellectual disabilities to the free Livingstone Abilities Unleashed Adults.
Proudly supported by our Official Health Care Partner Bupa Australia and MatchWorks, and delivered by Disability Sports Australia - this one day multi-sport come and try day is designed to provide adults with disabilities the opportunity to be active in a positive and inclusive environment.
How the day will look
Participants will be split into smaller groups upon registration. After a welcome at 10 AM, they will rotate across 4-6 stations.
These activities will consist of modified sport and active recreation with the use of adaptive equipment to suit the participants. The stations will be facilitated by specialised coaches with the support of students and community organisations.
