About The Event
Sport NSW invites all students with a sensory, physical or intellectual disability to the FREE Activate Inclusion Sports Day.
Proudly supported by Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT and delivered by Disability Sports Australia - the event is designed to provide students aged 5-18 with the opportunity to experience mainstream sports in a positive and inclusive environment, with the use of adaptive equipment.
Participants will experience a variety of modified sporting activities on the day, to be facilitated by specialised coaches with the support of students from local universities and community organisations.
About Us
Disability Sports Australia aim to connect Australians with disabilities to their local adaptive sport and recreational opportunities. The Activate Inclusion Sports Days is one program DSA delivers with partners to get more people with disabilities to be more active, more often.
