About The Event
Sport NSW invites children living with a sensory, physical or intellectual disability to the Activate Inclusion Sports Day.FREE
Proudly supported by Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT and delivered by Disability Sports Australia - the event is designed to provide children aged 5-18 with the opportunity to experience mainstream sports in a positive and inclusive environment, with the use of adaptive equipment.
Participants will experience a variety of modified sporting activities on the day, to be facilitated by specialised coaches with the support of students from local universities and community organisations.
Prior to the Activation Inclusion event, Sport NSW asks each student to complete a questionnaire form online . This enables Sport NSW, Variety - the Children's Charity NSW/ACT and Disability Sports Australia to improve service quality delivery and cater to the needs of all participants.here
