About The Event
Disability Sports Australia invites children living with a sensory, physical or intellectual disability to the FREE Activate Inclusion Sports Day.
Proudly supported by Variety - the Children's Charity SA and delivered by One Culture - the event is designed to provide children aged 5-18 with the opportunity to experience mainstream sports in a positive and inclusive environment, with the use of adaptive equipment.
Participants will experience a variety of modified sporting activities on the day, to be facilitated by specialised coaches with the support of students from local universities and community organisations.
Prior to the Activation Inclusion event, Disability Sports Australia asks each student to complete a questionnaire form online here. This enables Disability Sports Australia, Variety - the Children's Charity SA and One Culture to improve service quality, delivery and cater to the needs of all participants.
